We started a new tradition this year, we went to Disney World in December and plan to make it an annual event. It's so beautiful with all the Christmas decorations and special holiday activities and it's one of the least busy times to go if you go in early December. It really gets you in the mood for Christmas!

I've never been a fan of artificially scented products including fabric softener sheets. There are a number of articles that suggest they may not be good for our health. This article from National Geographic's The Green Guide concurs with my opinion.

"Dryer sheets are no better, as many of the chemicals in them designed to keep your clothes wrinkle and static free have been linked to cancer." <-- Do you have proof of this? That is terrifically frightening if that's true.

When I add white vinegar directly to the washing cycle it helps eliminate odors. I also pour it into the fabric softner dispenser thus omitting the need for commercial softners and dryer sheets. My clothes come out soft and relatively static free.
